It reminds me of a remark I've heard before: It's a lot easier to teach someone who knows he doesn't know anything than to try to teach someone who knows a lot of misinformation. I can't imagine how disturbing it must be to brief a president who is both ignorant and arrogant.

Intelligence limits the president's ability to pivot - presents facts that might be limiting...

Presidents want intelligence to be able to make statements that they can't make...
