1. Not from the numbers that I have seen. Sweden had more deaths/million then its

neighbors who implemented stricter stay at home and social distancing.

2. The video basically says it would be nuts to do in the US with over 2 million dead.

However, with Trump as President encouraging everyone to rebel against the social distancing, we may see 2 million dead before this is done.

4. Pretty sure that's more American dead than in all our wars put together.

Yeah, I asked the internet and wikipedia and the answer came back that around 660,000 Americans have died in combat.

6. Deaths in Combat is only one class of impact. More veterans died after the wars than in them from

injuries, lingering effects of PTSD, suicide, drug and alcohol addiction, Agent Orange and other toxic exposure. Millions died in WWII who were not in combat. Familes, towns, ethnic communities, and many more were erased as collateral damage.

There will yet be more damage counted in lives lost, families and communities altered or erased before this is over. And, at least according to some experts, it may go on for a longer time than the purported 18 months to generate a working anti-virus or a cure. This is to say nothing of lingering effects of compromised health and health care systems, disrupted food chains, lives and careers forever altered or ended.

5. IT WILL HAPPEN

because Trump/GOP delayed inadequate action for two months. Opening retail, sports, schools and public places too early will feed this epidemic through the Summer, Autumn and by November it will be changing everything about our way of life.

The survivors may have access to a vaccine by December 2021, with luck! Herd immunity starts January 1, 2022!
