This should be a strong warning about opening restaurants too soon and why buffets are a bad business model for the indefinite future

1. I have always hated and avoided buffet style dining as much as possible.

There were some exceptions, but if given an actual choice, I'd rather avoid those anyhow.

Seeing this does not surprise me. It is how I have always seen buffets anyhow. I just picture some parent "cleaning" their kid's dirty hands then touching the serving utensils. Pretty soon, I can't stand the thought of dining buffet style. I would either cook at home only or get dangerously underweight if buffet style dining was all there was. It's just gross to me. Maybe I am a bit of a germophobe, but still...
