Almost every difficulty (or worse) has a silver lining, not always readily apparent. Coal has to die and if the pandemic is helping to kill it, that's our silver lining.

there will be a need for coal. Fortunately, the glory days of coal being used for everything including central heating are over. I say this as someone who grew up with coal central heat and the air was often unbearably thick and foul.

It's time to start moving away from fossil fuels and into clean energy. Hell, it is way past time!
