Because as justified as they are in their anger, these protesters must understand that all this only plays into Cheeto's grubby little orange hands.

Small wonder he (or his GOP allies) are already using provocateurs - to add to any destructive actions going on amid all this.

But I don't see how this plays into MF45's hands. He's besieged at the WH right now. Even the dumbest American can see that something must be wrong with his leadership with so many young people, as many white as black, are hell bent on forcing change.

Provocateurs are even known. Their tells are what they wear, how they act, and how they know nothing about the area when asked. Protestors know them from past Occupies, the Seattle and Oakland days, and they get photographed and doxxed.

Since everyone knows that what he says is self serving, what could he possibly say that would change his poll numbers?

Some say these disturbances and the fear they stoke could shore up his right-wing white base (including 'center-right' white voters, whom he has been slowly but steadily losing since '18).

But then again, all this certainly helps consolidate the growing (and very accurate!) perception that the Cheeto regime is one big exercise in mis-governance - that, indeed, Trump's nothing but trouble.

EarlG, as he so often does, captured that last sentiment perfectly earlier today:
