Seth Meyers - Trump Suggests Delaying the Election, Which He Can't Do: A Closer Look

Seth takes a closer look at the president suggesting delaying the November election, which would be a flagrant violation of the Constitution and the law.

Well, if you notice, he's no longer in his attic Rhiannon12866 Jul 2020 #2
Yes, I noticed that he had moved, but I wasn't sure if being at his in-law's house was a vacation smirkymonkey Jul 2020 #3
I'm grateful, too - with the news we've been getting, we need his perspective and humor right now Rhiannon12866 Jul 2020 #4

Great segment! Seth was hilarious and hard hitting, as usual. Is he taking vacation in August? He seems like he's going a little stir crazy and might need to get away. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I just kind of sense that he needs a little break.

Anyway, thanks for posting!

He's at his in-laws house, so is this a vacation? He's been in repeats on Fridays for quite a long time, but looking ahead he's still having new shows next week, unlike Colbert who has a second week of repeats. Didn't they all have time off for the 4th of July? I imagine it's more stressful to orchestrate shows out of the studio - early on, Seth had dedicated segments on many of the staff members he missed - but at least he doesn't have to travel!

And I agree that his Closer Looks have been especially good, you can tell that he means what he's saying - and not speaking out right now would probably be frustrating - Colbert is missing so much!

for him. He's still great, but he seems like he's getting a little wiggy and needs to be back in NYC or just get away from it all or something. I don't know, it's just the impression I get from him. He seems like the kind of guy who needs more interaction than he's currently getting. He just doesn't seem like he is quite in his element.

Anyway, I am still grateful that he is on the air and keeping the rest of us sane! He's been great and I have appreciated his shows so much. I'm also very grateful to you for posting them here! Thanks again!

And you know why I started posting these, we sure need some humor with our news now, think it helps us to feel we're not alone. I regularly post Seth's monologues and Closer Look, as well as any political guests. But my favorites of his are his "press conferences," they're not necessarily all that political even when political figures are involved, they're just funny - and you can tell he's having a good time!
