About theAnalysis.news
Mission
Corporate news has infantilized the national discourse. We need to tell people the whole truth, as best we can, about the urgency of this historical moment.
Corporate news rarely reveals the underlying interests that motivate individuals and classes to act as they do. In fact, they barely recognize that we live in a class society.
We take on important news stories as a way into a deeper examination of the economic, social and political forces that drive important events. Our aim is to reveal the economic relationships that are the foundation of political and social struggle.
We know the world can only be understood in the process of changing it.

Their defense of Assange is because he is being extradited for the release of Video on the US attack on Iraq. Assanges indictment by the US is not about the silencing of a whistleblower or a threat to freedom of the press. It is about prosecuting Assange on a specific criminal charge, conspiring to hack into a US government computer.
That these defenders of Assange seem to brush aside his involvement with the Russians, and trump operatives to interfere in the US elections, is sad indeed
They argue the persecution of Assange is an assault to journalism. That is only valid if one regards Assange as a journalist, instead of a willing participant in a political agenda
The Mueller report concluded Assange is neither a whistleblower nor a journalist. He is an Australian citizen charged with conspiring to hack into a US government computer, with ample documents that he worked with the support of Russian intelligence to interfere in the American electoral process
WikiLeaks is a service working for actors like Russia to achieve specific political agenda
Mueller established WikiLeaks distributed material from Russian military intelligences hack of the Democratic Party and private email account of Hillary Clinton
Unlike Ellsberg who was a whistleblower in a way Assange couldve never be because Assange is a foreign national who collaborated with Russian intelligence to derail Clintons candidacy
The Mueller report showed WikiLeaks communicated both with trump advisors and Russian intelligence, GRU with the intent of election sabotage
No journalist would conspire to hack into the Pentagons computer network
From 2015 to 2016 when trump announced his presidential candidacy, Assange did not publish a single document that was negative to Russia or Putin
