(6,265 posts)Disabled vets. COVID-19 patients. All who depend on the Affordable Care Act for health insurance, the GOP does not care if we die. They want us dead because we're "losers" to them. Not rich enough to impress the GOP? Then die. A minority struggling to stay alive in a racist society, definitely die. The GOP and their fuhrer want the weak and infirm dead. Hitler wanted the same thing. Eugenics. If the wannabe dictator steals the election again millions will needlessly die from neglect with this administration and they won't care. I'm also one of those "losers", "suckers" as a disabled vet and any vet who votes for this clown I would not want in my bunker because I would be worried about being shot in my back.
What a cowardly man this potus is. To have divided us like this. And for Americans to have allowed themselves to be duped by this cowardly caricature of a human being just shows me how many want Civil War II.

(3,660 posts)Just shows you how these f*ckers really think. Rethugs view healthcare, by extension your health, as a luxury. Whereas actual humans view it as essential to being able to survive. In rethugs minds only people that can afford to pay whatever manipulated health care costs that are controlled by large corporations and big pharma should be able to live. The whole point of the ACA was to end this process (over time) of large corporations being able to manipulate health care costs.
Conservatives like to talk about how capitalism and free market are the only system that can make prices competitive, but more and more people are starting to realize that there is no such thing as a "free market" It's always manipulated by wall street and huge corporations.

(8,713 posts)Give us cancer. Old enough to remember trump brought back the use of asbestos in his first few months, imported from..........Russia. While the commercials for cancer from it still air several times a day. Tills is a Meadows clone. Brought to you by the most undemocratic Gerry mandering in the nation. A How to playbook to elect Meadows, Gohmerts, and Gaetzs nationwide, and never allow votes to oust them,

(5,113 posts)Here we are. Guess the attempts to correct this have not met with much success. Now what? Because 'voting' is what put him there. I guess it all boils down to a simple question: Are we gonna sit here or are we gonna fix this? And, once those bastards basically deny any 'legal' attempt to remove them... then what? Are you ready for that? Is anyone?

(6,169 posts)It's called We Don't Care.
It's been their plan for decades. You saw it when "W" was president, and now see it with Trump.
It's the only health care plan the Republicans are interested in implementing.

2) If you get sick, hurry up and die.
That's their plan.

(32,017 posts)Thats standard, Republican policy. The only thing inappropriate, here, is that the staffer told the truth. Truth-telling is definitely NOT standard, Republican policy.

(12,212 posts)he said he was going to have a great replacement for Obama Care. Of course, none of them are asking where his great plan went. Theyd rather get in boats draped in Trump flags and yell at responsible people wearing masks.

Having the right dress shirt is life or death.
How many times did I call asking about an individual policy only to be told it would be 18 months before they would cover my thyroid disease. Asked if theyd double the premium would they cover it: no, every time they said, no.
I chose jobs not for the betterment of my career, but for the group health insurance policies. I wore myself out taking college courses to maintain group coverage through student insurance.
Shopping for a shirt wont make you do that. Buying a life or death product like health insurance in a protected market will. The mendacious mediocrities willing to work for the likes of tillis will call that the free market, because they skipped their economics classes during their hungover hazing days.
I would have told him to shove his wingtips up his khaki-wearing ass as I hung up the phone.

(12,863 posts)Death by lack of health care.
Death by a criminally mismanaged pandemic.
Death by poisonous metals dumped in waterways.
Death by myriad other environmental toxins increased by an EPA run by the pollution lobby.
Death by denial of climate change and its catastrophic effects.
Death by opposing every effort to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and psychopaths.
Death by encouraging rightwing nutjobs with assault weapons.
Death by refusing to acknowledge or seek remedies for unwarramted killings by the police.
Death by the disastrous wars of choice launched by GW Bush.
That about sums it up.

(5,377 posts)It's the same in North Korea and Russia.
If you are important and get sick, you get the best healthcare.
If you are some insignificant peasant / work unit, just go home and die.
Other countries do it better, but they are Socialist countries, and we know how evil they are!
