I'm hoping his definitian isn't dredged up as one of those RW talking points, from the ones who originated it back in the 70's & years that followed.

"Started by Roger Ailes in the Nixon Administration, Made very popular By Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck Bill O'reilly, Sean Hannity and all of fox news"

Someone should maybe point this out to BS. I don't think he realizes who he's quoting by pulling a phrase like 'coastal elites' out of somewhere in his political past.

Bernie Sanders cannot possibly mean it as the RW propaganda machine did back in those days. Especially within a few days of the most criticat election, where the fate of our United States sits so fragile in the balance.

Someonecreally needs to ask him to explain his recent accusation.
Is he saying that Democrats are no different than Republicans & Joe & Kamala are no different than Trump & Pence?
Without a clarifying correction to his statement, it becomes confusing as to what he's actually saying.

Some Democrats.? All Democrats?
What about the millions of Democrats in the middle of the country who are working class of all varieties. Are they "coastal elites" too? .

Who is he referring to as "Coastal Elites"?
The same people Ailes, Limbaugh, Beck .. etc referred to when they broadbrushed an entire swath of the populace by using a denigrating reference?

Bernie Sanders really has to put out a clarifying statement. Considering who coined the uncomfortable term.

He'd probably appreciate a gentle reminder as to who he's quoting.

By asserting his outsider status he has defused the only viable argument Republicans thought they had against Biden, yet at the same time he urges his followers to vote. Either this is a clever strategy or just Bernie being Bernie.

Of course they're referring to some ass on a farm, but it's past time for the democratic mule to kick his ass from here to freeperville.
