I don't think that Bill ever got it - and it took me listening a second time through to understand exactly what Al meant...

This just may be my favorite show yet this year - all the guests were great, but it was especially great to see Al Franken again!

I realize it's unlikely, but he's so smart and outspoken, he's exactly what we need right now.

Couldn't agree more! He is gifted with a rare depth of discernment, coupled with being an articulate, no-bs communicator.

When he was recalling his election, I was also remembering how long it took for him to be seated. They knew what they were up against and that has to be the reason for obstructing him in the beginning, and must have had a lot to do with his ouster - which we all know was for bogus charges.

I wish we could have heard more of him, and I wish Bill would have been a little more gracious about listening to what he had to say, considering the fact that he is a former insider. Anyway, all in all it was a good show. Thanks for posting!

I think they got sidelined by Al's joke that Bill didn't get - and I admit I didn't really understand it, either, until I watched the interview again. I really wish that he'd make the rounds right now since I agree, he has such insights about what's really going on - like his opinions on Mitch McConnell!

I know that not everybody here stays up as late as I do - or has HBO or even TV - and these shows not only contribute to the national conversation, but more importantly right now, bring us some badly needed humor.
