(3,238 posts)It's about not fracking on public land, and not polluting the water supply while you're doing it. They always avoid that part of the fracking argument and try to make it look like fracking is being outlawed entirely.
Frack your butts off, just not on public land. And, while you're at it obey the environmental laws and don't screw up the water for the rest of us. This should be simple.

(3,131 posts)I didnt need to suffer through that. Even skipping over Trump talking.
But at the 3:30 mark, I heard Santorum say that fracking would push western and NE PA spermly into the hands of republicans. That made up for the rest.
Not watching cable news for a couple of years I forget how toxic these discussions are. Why not have a clip ready with someone giving a 30-60 second educated bit on how voter fraud is virtually non-existent? How about just reading a list of the republicans efforts at voter suppression.
The whole atmosphere is a cesspool. I want dispassionate facts. Liven it up with discussion, but start off with an educated exposition of the facts and use that to keep the discussion honest.
Make the facts the center piece of the discussion not the idiot talking heads and maybe Id watch cable news again. At least it would make the discussion more intelligent and interesting.
