''We Won. And I Feel Like Shit' - James Carville

I can not recommend this episode of the New Abnormal highly enough. The way James Carville and Rick Wison get going through the results, reminds me of some of the best bits of The War Room.

What was going down in Florida. What happened with the Senate. The challenges facing the incoming administration. For a political junkie, this is as good as it gets.

"We won the popular vote and we're going to win the electoral college. And I feel like fucking shit". Carville joins the conversation after 8.30

All the current states in question were also considered tossups and were shown to be 60-40 at best and 50-50 is most cases.

The polling error was about as bad as it was in 2016.

The exception to that would be Collins.

McGrath was never close.

Harris got close to Graham and for a while was up in the polls but didn't hold it.

Michigan was also always close, though it looks like we will get that one.

So we went up two seats total (+3/-1).

Fivethirty Eight had only a 75% chance we would win all three (House, Senate and Presidency). That's still a good chance we didn't win control of the Senate.

We lost some in the House n did not take the Senate. Maybe with 2 Independents we have a chance.. I really wanted a landslide but the closeness of this election is troubling. Almost half of US wanted another four years of this ..
