that with Bye Bye Blues recorded in France in the 1960s with Muddy Waters, Memphis Slim, Willy Dixon, Otis Spann to name just a few of the artists

The bass player is a particularly great singer. Was trying to look him up online. It's kind of rare in that era for the bass players to sing. He makes it look effortless to do both at the same time.
This is one of the best parts of DU - getting exposed to great music by other aficionados. Thanks!
