The addiction is strong with this one, like me. Hes always smoking in his shows. Its a heavy monkey baby. Believe me.

(33,643 posts)Started smoking at 14. I did go about 12 years during college and after without getting fully back into it but then in 2000 I started again ... but I've been a vaper for like 6 years now. Not that I NEVER smoke analogs but not much.
I just never saw smoke actually coming out of his mouth, and his drags looked really quick so I thought it might be an act.

His commentary about the nearby farmers doesn't surprise me at all.
Sadly, Yellow Springs is more costly than I prefer or I'd move there. It's not very far from me.
Edit: There's some beautiful nature preserves in that area too, with minerals in the water that give that village its name.
Edit2: And it was the first place in all of Ohio that required masks months ago. (I think I'm trying to convince myself to finally move there. Lol.)

(14,852 posts)That's been my experience during my past visits.
Either that, or they can tell that I'm "one of them" right away? Maybe it would be different if I looked and acted like a redneck, riding into town on a loud Harley?
Edit: I'll watch that video eventually! Thanks for recommending it! Here's a little article about it:

(14,852 posts)Dave Chappelle was wonderful with his perspectives!
And I can understand why he's comfortable living there. The community is very accepting and kind, at least toward others who treat them similarly.
