History Channel Hitler's End The Bunker

I know everyone's tired of Trump and the Hitler comparisons, but here we go again- The refusal to admit defeat, the scorched earth policy, the narcissistic need to turn his loss into an epic disaster for everyone- Of course Trump is (fortunately) only a pale copy of Hitler, so he hasn't killed 40 million people, and he'll flee to someplace with no extradition rather than kill himself.

(Footnote: And with typical History Channel sloppiness, the picture of "young Traudl Junge" at 10:35 is actually Eva Braun... )

Very illuminating in how these monsters take hold in a liberal democracy - in only 3 years!!

5. And the two key elements seldom mentioned:

Massive corporate support, from both Germany and overseas - primarily U.K., France, and U.S. (Republican CEOs mainly).

And complicity from "mainstream conservative" parties - who despite "concerns" thought it worth backing a psycho extremist, just for the sake of keeping Social Democrats from winning.

Might sound a little familiar...

The fact that Hair Furor used to keep a copy of Mein Kampf at his bedside should have been the first clear warning that he wanted to rule like Hitler. The parallels are unmistakable (except this one doesn't own a dog -- unless you count Rudy, who's a miserable son-of-a-bitch).

Years ago, the History Channel was nicknamed "the Hitler Channel" because of all the WWII shows on its schedule. After cutting cable five years ago, I didn't know if they've continued that tradition.

These days History Channel is Pawn Stars and American Pickers 24/7. They were doing a WWII weekend for veteran's Day. Now they're back to the usual crap. There's been nothing historical on History Channel in ages.

Also- minor correction; It wasn't Mein Kampf on Bunker Boi's night stand- It was a book of Hitler's speeches.

given the brief glimpses of his shakiness of hand at the end. You'd think he'd have had the best medical care, being the head of state, but by the end he was a deteriorating, physical wreck at a relatively young age.

And his mind too was also in bad shape. From other History Channel shows about the war, his military thinking was nowhere near the brilliance of his speaking ability as he made huge mistakes thinking he knew more than his generals. One was halting the advance of his forces at Dunkirk when he could've captured the British army with their backs to the sea and no escape.

The other was on the Russian front, which was, first started to late, then he diverted central thrust forces from capturing Moscow south to capture industrial regions. When finished, and with forces weakened, the capture of Moscow failed as the Soviets reinforced their divisions and the Russian winter set in.

Thank God Hitler made those two huge mistakes. If not Germany would've captured all or Europe and most of Russia, if not more.

And thank God trump is nowhere hear as smart as the flawed Hitler. Smart is not a word that should be used to describe him. Cunning, evil, self-absorbed and selfish and insane for sure, but not smart.

But in actual fact, Hitler had a quack named Dr Morell who kept him hopped up on speed and gave him daily injections of pulverised bull testicles, among other things. Seems that- also like Trump- Hitler didn't trust doctors.

About the speed injections, yes. And isn't Adderol, which trump favors, essentially speed?

I first heard it in a movie I saw (The Bunker, starring Anthony Hopkins) The Wikipedia article has a list of all the stuff that Morell pumped into Hitler on a daily basis (and it's truly staggering) and the cocktail in question does appear on it; the ingredients are listed as bovine testosterone (which in the 1940s may well have been pulverised testicles) pituitary gland and glycerophosphate.

Adderall is indeed a type of speed, but Morell was giving Hitler methamphetamine as well as cocaine, heroin and oxycodone at various times. When you look at all the crap he was getting shot up with, it's no wonder Hitler was such a wreck at the end.

9. Yeah, I Saw the Show on the History Channel that Talked About Hitler's Doctor

It said that Hitler could hardly get up in the morning without his shot in the arm administered by his doctor. Turns out that it was mainly amphetamines laced with a smattering of vitamins. Hitler may have had Parkinson's but I feel that it was aggravated and made a lot worse by the devastating toll of the amphetamines on his nervous system. It also appears that the whole German military was addicted to amphetamines. But heck - go to any modern corporate sales organization, any success cult or pyramid scheme, and you will usually find it centered around the stimulant of choice - even if that is coffee.

By the way - don't knock bull's testicles until you've tried them! There's a popular Chinese herbal patent medicine with three different kinds of male genitals in them - those of a dog, a seal, and a deer. Go into a health food store, and you can find raw glandular supplements, including those from bovine testicles. The basic therapeutic principle here is that like nourishes like. Human Placenta, being very rich in hormones, is also a powerful endocrine and energy tonic. You can get dried human placentas in Chinese herb stores - they look like almond cookies, but with a decidedly fishy flavor.
