This perfectly answers the question of why trump's cult is so devoted. The good news is that

the same techniques COULD be used to turn his followers against him and stop the madness.

(Seriously, it's frighteningly dead on, and I'm no fan of Freud.)

It's a great basis of information to start with and not only does it make sense, but you can extrapolate the rest from there.

Highly recommended!

that we've become a nation...well, a world frankly...of limbic system addicts. Even the very act of posting on social media makes gratification junkies of us.

It was something I definitely noted during the 2016 debate where HRC was coolly and calmly spouting facts and figures while Trump stomped around like Frankenstein's monster and THAT sort of behavior was pure reptilian brain junk food. And he's still doing it...and it's still working with his base, no matter how many fire he sets.

Biden has enough of the bare-knuckled brawler in him to stroke those atavistic impulses enough to contend with Trump in the WWF match that our politics has become. Someone more self-consciously intellectual would have been buried, I suspect.

Each episode is 1 hour long, and they all repeat each other a bit. For those who don't want to devote 4 hours to this, just watch episode 4. This concluding episode has all the key points to take away from this series, as stated by Robert Reich in the last few minutes of Episode 4 (start watching at the 56 minute mark).
