Memphis just started vaccinating this past Monday!
Presumably they were awaiting the Moderna (repuke cash grab) vaccine.

But she had to drive over an hour to a major hospital downstate to get it, I'm guessing that they had the refrigeration required. She said there was a very long line and she recognized physicians from the hospital here. She got the Pfizer vaccine so is going to have to go back for shot #2.
And the better of the 2, imho.
And she said her arm only hurt the first day, that's it. And there was even an article in the local paper today that said local nursing home staff and residents are being vaccinated. That's one thing I give the local paper credit for, the latest COVID-19 news regularly makes the front page. That doesn't mean that some people aren't behaving stupidly, but at least we're staying informed. 
Glad she hasn't had any side effects & that nursing home staff & residents are getting vaccines!

Last I read, TN expects to have general population vaccinated by the end of June. But that is dependent upon "vaccine availability."
