If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: ‘The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music.’

Saw them in Boston twice...many years ago, "Passion Play" was their latest album then, I still listen to "Thick as a Brick" at least once a month...Genius..

In my humble opinion, "This as a Brick" is one of the best albums ever recorded.

The 70s was, maybe, some of the best years in music. Bill Bruford (drummer for King Crimson) said it best when he was interviewed in the 80s, he said "the difference between bands of the 60s/70s and the 80s is that in the 60s/70s bands strived to be different while in the 80s all bands strive to sound the same." I remember when "Pearl Jam" came out and everyone wanted to sound like "Pearl Jam".

Anyway thank you for posting.

Style and any instrument.
Now unless its 5 guys on loud guitars they don't think it is rock.
