ever doing something like this? No, neither could I. First off, there wouldnt exist a poorly run and dangerous homeless shelter, let alone a shelter that was clean, safe, and uplifting to it's residents. For all their talk of being religious and their unbridled love of JESUS, republicans sure do act contrary to the things they say. Like Rachel Maddow says, "don't listen do what they say, watch what they do". Amen to that.
This mayor gets it, and didn't recoil at the thought of walking a mile in the homeless's shoes. This is what government should be, not some full contact soap opera with which republicans entertain their audience. This mayor should be roundly applauded for his service and humanity to others less fortunate. Many people are one catastrophic event from being homeless and/or destitute. We should all think about that before passing judgment on others who've fallen on hard times, especially in the years of the trump pandemic.

I thought it was dumbed-down for little kids, but I believe you're right. It looks to be trying to get subs with feel-good stories so they can churn out the propaganda later. Seriously weird "about" page.
