Nine months later (September) President Biden will finally get us out of Afghanistan.

I’m still not sure why Germany still needs america to survive. Germany In some cases is even and maybe number 1 in the world. One reason they have health care is they don’t have to pay defense since we do it for them.

But I think it's just such a great place to be stationed for the young soldiers. (Not a good reason! But no doubt many generals have happy memories.)

And of course, it is closer to the Mideast and has the hospitals, as we can't seem to stop warring in the desert.

enough military people believe in this POS that he could believe they would back his insurrection. I am so glad he is a stupid man. Only made smart by family members and advisors. Those are the people behind the throne. Especially miller, kushner, ivanka et al.

Amateurish, and the rank amateurs who were directed to issue the orders! He really lives in a dark mindset that time left behind.

... by cleaning up all those US troops left behind throughout the world. But making this big plans in such haste just before his door closes, is the hallmark of an extremely stupid presidency.

That filthy SOB wanted to cling to power and was willing to destroy the country and slaughter citizens to do it.

Fortunately, a lot of people stood in his way, many of them military, otherwise we'd be fighting a civil war right now.

But instead he lied about a pandemic that killed thousands of Americans - and was willing to sacrifice our brave military. As she also noted, not one Trump of any generation ever served. And as we all know, the former guy lied to get out of that, since that's what he does.

In Germany in the 70s for 4 years.
It was at a base called Rhein Mein and every time you drove onto the base that was underneath the big sign that said gateway to Europe. I think that's the key.
Having troops in those kind of countries is/was the bulwark against communist expansion.
It was just another way for Donald j maggot to kiss Putins ass.

He didn't understand why anyone would bother, I still remember his embarrassing appearance in France to commemorate D-Day, calling them "losers and suckers." And we also remember his insults to war hero John McCain - "I like people who weren't captured." And then there was the issue of the Russian bounties, which he ignored.

We were extremely fortunate to have finally gotten rid of him before he did anymore damage to this country - and our armed services. He had no clue about service to this country. His only aim ever was to manipulate laws and norms so they were of personal benefit to him.
