The New York Times reports that the Department of Justice under Trump subpoenaed Apple for data from the accounts of at least two Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee, aides and family members. Aired on 06/10/2021.

And these are only the ones we know about now, I'm certainly willing to bet that there's a lot more to come. You're absolutely right, they talked about this earlier this week when Biden's first pick for federal judge was finally confirmed - one who had originally been nominated by Obama(!), but as you said, McConnell made sure that none of those picks got through - while racing to confirm the former guy's picks in record numbers! Like he knew anything about judges?? You are right, there is a massive job of cleaning up and cleaning out still to do...

10. You Can't Legally Impanel A Grand Jury

To go on a fishing expedition. There has to be an expectation that a crime has been committed. Same with the Grand Jury issuing a subpoena. This is a clear abuse of the use of a Grand Jury and well beyond the abuse during Watergate. Apple probably should have been a lot more skeptical of a subpoena for data on elected Congressmen of the opposition party. Indeed, it looks like the sole purpose of this Grand Jury was to spy on a political opponent. Barr should end up in jail, along with other in DOJ.

13. I agree. I'm shocked that Apple allowed this, didn't seem to fight this, to some,

possibly illegal subpoenas. As a matter of fact, I'm kind of pissed that one of the world's premier companies facilitated this, and should have fought this more.
