3. I caught the beginning of Meet the Press today and they showed video from last year

Of TFG saying that this pandemic would "just go away" and that it would "disappear by Easter." And they followed up with the current statistics, close to 10,000 souls were lost to this deadly virus in the month of June in this country alone. And then Dr. Fauci came on and when he was asked how many of those who died were unvaccinated and he said it was over 99% (can't remember the last 2 numbers).

And it truly is a miracle that in just a few weeks in office, this new administration has made vaccines available across the country. It first became available in my neck-of-the-woods in late February, had to drive about 20 minutes to the closest pharmacy where I could get an appointment at the end of February and March (2 Moderna shots), but now it's available at pharmacies, pharmacies in groceries, Walmart and at a large state run site in the old Sears store at the nearby local mall, many of those taking walk-ins. There's no excuse for my county only being at 63% vaccinated, though it's doing better than most. This isn't over yet, but Biden was as good as his word, we have the vaccine, people just need to roll up their sleeves and get it. *sigh*

However short we are from the 70% one-dose goal - be it 3 or 7 points off (I had read we're at 67%; but I could of course be wrong) - the main reason is clear:

Because Faux News and Hate Radio have made it their mission to discourage as many Americans as possible from accepting their shot.

We would certainly be at 70% were it not for their politicizing this so much - a criminal act that I've seen from RW figures in other countries (whenever a center-left administration is in office).

For them, it's a matter of more deaths = more votes. That's it.

How I wish some incriminating audio of these Machiavellian/Manichean discussions of theirs could be made public. People often need things to be irrefutable, to see.
