He's unable to sell his name anymore and anything he's tried in recent years was a colossal failure. He was never a "businessman," he was mainly the face of his father's company. When he tried on his own, that resulted in the failed casinos which even his wealthy father couldn't bail out. He's already had several bankruptcies and there's no one left willing to take a chance on him. I've long believed that the only reason he ran wasn't because he wanted or intended to do the job, but that he was just after the campaign contributions. 
And did nothing but harm to this country, ignored a pandemic that was killing thousands of U.S. citizens, refused to address harm to our military, alienated every one of our long time allies, granted special favors to our greatest adversaries, reversed safety regulations and climate protections, chose unqualified individuals for important government posts - the list is so much longer, but I'm tired, especially of him.
