3. Ummm Someone has the right if way on the turnpike

and it's not some clown in a light plane. I'm glad he got down safe but his safety inconvenienced a shitload of people who paid for a roadway for automobiles. Nobody struck him though if they had I have no doubt who would be found at fault-and the correct answer is not a Honda or Kia.

7. Imagine you're a pedestrian getting ready to cross the street at an intersection

You see a city bus careening down the street toward your crosswalk, sparks flying out from behind the wheels accompanied by loud, grinding noises, the horn blaring a staccato warning. It’s obvious from the momentum that the bus is not capable of stopping before careening straight through the intersection - traffic signal be damned.

Do you assess the situation and prudently step away from the curb, providing ample room for the distressed bus to pass? Perhaps you’ll assert that you’re a tax-paying citizen and no GD city bus is gonna usurp your right as a pedestrian to cross when the little walking man says ‘GO.’

You would be technically within your rights to step out proudly and allow physics to take its dispassionate course. I’m sure the monument maker wouldn’t have an issue with carving ‘I PAID FOR THAT INTERSECTION, DAMMIT!’ on a headstone.
