They've been saying this for years.

It's been incorporated into a program we give for incoming freshmen before classes begin. It always brings up a lot of confused faces - a lot of these students had been told they're either visual or verbal and should direct their education accordingly.

There are entire schools designed for dyslexic kids who struggle in traditional learning but go onto being entrepreneurial at a much higher rate than non dyslexic kids even though they struggle early on with reading and writing.

so that gave me an advantage I did have problems writing accurately and writing math problems and solutions correctly. My strategy, work fast, then check everything. As seen in my posts and comments, I have gotten slack on proofing my own production, unless on a payroll or in a classroom.

I'm not a teacher and my kids are long out of school, and I was surprised that this video was as captivating as it was. And I think that also points out that, whatever kind of learner you are, the nature of the teacher is critical. And it highlights just how tough teaching is - keeping young people on track, maybe even captivated, throughout the day, and day in and day out, for a very long time. It's amazing that anybody even gives it a try.
