Yesterday's paper went with the headline "COVID Is Not Finished," with the main story reporting an outbreak at a local resort and one more Covid death at the local hospital, the second this month.
I'm wondering how many of the crowds of out-of-state tourists check out the local paper - or take advantage of the numerous vaccination sites operating all over - pharmacies, pharmacies in grocry stores, Walmart, and the large state-run site in the old Sears store at the local mall with the neon signs and arrows out by the main road advertising it. If they take one of the two main highway exits on the way to Lake George, they have to pass right by that site - and Walmart. And both places are taking walk-ins. *sigh*
