(204,804 posts)We were fortunate to have this national treasure as long as we did, but like you said - we still have Mel Brooks and Norman Lear! (And Rob Reiner and Max Brooks to carry on!)

(204,804 posts)I often watched "The King of Queens" just because Jerry Stiller was on it - he was the best part, as he was on so many shows - though I know he's much more well known for "Seinfeld." Though Anne Meara did make guest appearances on "The King of Queens." He wasn't a giant in the industry like Norman Lear, but he was very funny!
