(128,844 posts)I don't normally watch him (or any of the political comedians) but he was exactly on point!
I was surprised that he didn't throw a dig in on TFG and his history of housing discrimination (including a court case) in NYC.

(205,202 posts)It was about TFG's addiction to publicity and attention, good or bad. And I said that in Mary Trump's book, she said that when it came to the infamous federal housing discrimination suit against TFG and his father for refusing to rent to black tenants (represented by the equally infamous Roy Cohn) - they may have lost, but considered it a "win" because of the tremendous publicity it generated!
And it was so good to see John Oliver back! He really does a stellar job with his weekly shows, whatever he discusses is thoroughly researched and he includes some humor, as well!
Not to mention, this coming week, the NBC latenight shows are preempted by the Olympics - and the others (including Colbert!) are inexplicably in repeats!
