Bit of a personal reason ... both my 1st Cousins have PG&E pensions they (partly) live on, and we know how these things go ... one of the first people to get screwed when companies fail ... is their pensioners.
Hope the missing are found okay and no more homes are destroyed 
I lived in Quincy, CA (city they were referring to when showing the older blonde woman) for a time as a kid. I really, really hope it stays safe. It's pretty far from the current uncontrolled portion so it should be alright I would think.
