Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn't think the spike in COVID cases across the country is a big deal, and she not only dismissed the fact that hospitals are filling up (by lying about what's happening) but she also casually said that "we can't live forever." This kind of flippant attitude is what is leading to a much longer pandemic, which in turn leads to more variants of the virus. And that includes the loved ones of those who contract this terrible virus. I went to a family funeral today, my Dad's cousin. She was older, but she left such a big hole, so many loved ones, including 3 siblings and 4 bereaved adult children. And she died of Covid. She was fully vaccinated and her sister told me they still have no idea how she contracted it. She was also a lifelong and proactive Democrat, we lost one of our own this week.
