tens of thousands of Afgan women are about to be beheaded and slaughtered. What diplomatic bullshit is going to change that.

And now, the taliban have the country to plan for futures attacks on foreign soil

2. You don't know this for sure, for one thing

There's no doubt they're all going to be thrown back in time in terms of their rights, be forced to marry and have babies with men they don't love, and of course that's horrible ... but I doubt the Taliban are going to slaughter and behead women by the 'tens of thousands'. That would be a really, really bad look for them.

And there's like 20M women and girls in Afghanistan. There's no way could have ever saved them all.

I'd also point out that the Taliban was never gone, they were ruling many of the rural areas this whole time.

And it was Trumps shitty deal w/the Taliban that crushed the spirit of the only people who could have actually protected the women of the country long-term ... the non-Taliban men.

It all sucks and I'm worried for people there too, but we couldn't stay there forever.
