I always wonder why progressives do not take advantage of local government meetings as a public funded platform to push progressive ideas. Instead, you only have racist, Fox News watching, Freedom Works funded, Republicans who feel entitled enough tp filibuster local meetings with hours and hours of crazy as illustrated in this Late Show segment:

Too bad this is not an isolated incident. Rather than do a march in the middle of summer and risk getting arrested or run over, or pay for and organize a rally, the same core set of extremists now know that they can easily go from local meeting to local meeting and have a few uninterrupted minutes to just spew the crazy.
