6. An idea just popped into my head.

When you take a bottle away from a child, the child's initial reaction usually isn't to be agreeable or say thank you. In a way the pundits and the community at large are that child right now.

That's the best metaphor I've got. I'm usually slow on the uptake so it's all I've got. Better late than never, as the saying goes.

But it is true that TFG left countless crises behind - and he's still out there stirring things up, he refuses to go away.

9. I had to quit watching the news back during the 2016 campaign, I found him so offensive

And they showed him all the time - to the expense of other candidates - no matter how offensive he got. I just couldn't take it - but I guess it meant ratings. I figured I'd turn back to the news when the campaign was over. I certainly didn't take this insulting creep seriously and it never dawned on me that anyone else didn't feel the same way.

And now that he lost even more badly this time around, we still aren't rid of him! He's been responsible for so much controversy and loss in this country - cheating, lying and a deadly pandemic - it boggles the mind that anyone at all is willing to give him the time of day!

And I'm talking about the ten penny type. I don't understand how others are able to stomach his crap. It makes me physically ill. I guess we're more sensitive than most. ❤
