That might explain her proud and confident stupidity in that interview. Leaving church she’s thinking “Hmm, I’ll be making fried chicken for dinner tonight but I wonder if I can put together a nice succotash or just do green beans and baked potato and, oh that Reverend Smiley said Jesus and sheep and goats or something, probably Jesus liked the goats more than the sheep. . . . that mean two entirely different things! In the Biblical parable of the sheep and the goats, the sheep represent those who are eternally accepted into God's presence; the goats are relegated to eternal hellfire! But then, near the end of the video, she declares herself a goat -- because "I'm not a sheep" -- which, of course, invokes the idiom from popular usage in which sheep represent those who mindlessly follow others. But I'd never try to correct her, because listening to her make a fol of herself is too much fun!
