(9,107 posts)My hubby and I visited London in 1986 to see friends and the production of "Chess" with Murray Head at the Prince Edward Theatre. Two friends were in the ensemble and we waited at the stage door to have dinner with them after their rehearsal. I just looked up the theater and Ronnie Scott's jazz club is where he often hung out. I recall seeing Watts on the stairs where we sat waiting across the street. It was just a meeting of the eyes, but unforgettable. He did look dapper.
