Prayer to cast elected leaders to the pits of hell

Yesterday in Oakland County, Michigan the Director of Public Health issued a mask mandate for all school, staff and students. Today there was a protest against the mask mandate. This woman was praying that students be unmasked and that those that imposed the mandate be cast into the pit of hell. They've lost their minds.

I was about to feel bad with recent posts about their God and thought I may apologize to Christians that follow at least a few words of Jesus. But fuck that. Until those “Good Christians”start raising hell about the Taliban Christians, taking religion straight to hell, I will continue my rants. Silence means they are full on board. So, Screw em. I was brought up in an evangelical fundementalist home. So a part of me has always pulled back from too much criticism because I hear from a lot of relatives still ensconced in that breed of Christianity that they do not like Trump. And they believe in masks and vaccines.

But sorry.....where are your leaders? Where are the ones who stand up to the accepted narrative on the Christian Right? Who go on Fox News to assure Christians that God is okay with vaccines, because God also made scientists. That its the Christian thing to do to wear a mask because its caring for others, one of Jesus's edicts?

All I hear is silence. Or worse. Like Falwell Jr. and Graham Jr. who openly supported a liar, fraudster, and killer.

The cowardice stinks from that breed of Christians. If they can't even stand up to the selfish radicals who are steering their own religion's reputation into the gutter, then what kind of people are they? They seem to have proven to either be as ugly, mean, selfish as Trump....or, if they do agree with health measures, are so cowed by the right wing media who constantly use Christian language to establish their hold on them.

And even expanding on that point into the metaphysical...Why would I even want to worship a God who allows the religion named after Him, to be so besmirched by MAGATS who do the opposite of Jesus's teachings?.

I cannot any more excuse that kind of capitulation to stupidity and cowardice.

I have yet to see ANY “leaders” speak up to defend their God’s words and image. The book said Jesus had massive pushback, but he continued to stand and speak loudly for the message. No such bravery in the current messengers. They are lead by their cult, and their cults money, just like trump. One boo, they change what they just said.
