Mary Trump discusses her book "The Reckoning" and healing from the trauma caused by her uncle Donald

Donald Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, whose book “Too Much and Never Enough” was an international bestseller, discusses her new book, “The Reckoning: Our Nation's Trauma and Finding a Way to Heal” on “Salon Talks.” When asked how Americans can heal from Donald Trump’s presidency, Mary Trump turns to her background as a psychologist. “First, I would just validate that feeling, you have been traumatized,” she told Salon’s Dean Obeidallah. “The people who are, quite frankly, the worst among us have been empowered and enabled by the horrors that Donald inflicted on us.” Watch the interview above to hear more about the book.
