discussed in the interview won't work. It was stated that just make a law to have shareholders of a corporation vote on allowing or disallowing the company to run the ads. This won't work. Most of the shares of any given corporation are owned by institutional investors and own a large share of the stocks. They are closely aligned with the Board of Directors and the CEO/Presidents of the companies. Most if not all initiatives started by stock holders don't get enough votes so the measures fail. Making a new law will only end up being reviewed by the USSC and they will not go against their decision with Citizens United. If I remember correctly Roberts said if you don't like the decision make a constitiutional change to the Constitution.

The only hope is to make a Consitutional change but there has to be some spine from our Congress criters and Senators.
