Stephen Colbert - Monologue, Apology to Milwaukee and Opening - 10/1/21

Drinking More? Having Less Sex? Throwing Tantrums In Public? Blame The Pandemic!

Since the pandemic disrupted nearly every part of daily life, Americans have been hitting the bottle, skipping sex, and behaving like toddlers in restaurants and on airplanes.

Stephen Wins Back Milwaukee's Love With An Apology And Lots Of Free Beer

After his disastrous falling out with the people of Milwaukee, which was entirely the fault of our writer Gabe Gronli, Stephen Colbert traveled to Cream City to apologize in person and treat Brewers fans to a few delicious bottles of Stephen Cold-Beer An Apology Amber. Stay tuned for part two of Stephen's trip, where he dons a hot dog costume and runs in the famed Sausage Race.

Stephen's Milwaukee Apology-Fest Ends With A High Stakes Sausage Race

In part two of Stephen's epic attempt to win back Milwaukee's love, Brewers pitcher Mark Suter trains him for the legendary sausage race, and our host tries to smooth over any remaining ill will at American Family Field. When all else fails, pander!

Waiting to board my AA flight in Louisville. There’s a bourbon gift shop on the “cleared’ side of TSA screening. It sells various size bottles, including a tiny, pocket-size one.

What could possibly go wrong?

Sounds like an awfully good idea to me, considering all the threats to flight attendants and fellow passengers we've been hearing about. Though if they can't get alcohol in flight, that bourbon gift shop must be doing a brisk business...

If you didn't catch it, Colbert is back to doing shows on Fridays!

Flight attendants specifically mentioned that on the PA.

You can’t bring alcohol or other liquids (>1 Oz) through TSA. So, opening that little shop was a good business decision.
