Facebook's outage was a wake up call for a few though. At least some recognized the effect it's having on their lives.
I'm getting so I won't even pick up my phone for 12 or more hours now, just to wean myself from that.

(204,759 posts)It somehow got "locked" a couple of months ago and I never realized how much I looked at it - took it with me everywhere - till that happened. I was in a blind panic without it.

(204,759 posts)What I've never understood are those who are actually talking on their phones everywhere they go - in the produce department, walking their dogs, while pumping gas! Now that's beyond me...

(19,186 posts)with the Bluetooth earpiece who look like they're talking to themselves wherever they go. 🤪 It creeps me out. You never know if they're talking to you, someone else, or themselves.
