Charlottesville organizers left behind an 'enormous' paper trail (CNN)

CNN's Elle Reeve revisits Charlottesville, Virginia five years after the "Unite the Right" rally. The civil trial against the rally's organizers has begun jury selection and will decide whether the organizers had predetermined the event would turn violent.

... for one of them to take his place later after his death?

Delusional, but what else is not realistic from that bunch of crazy thugs? Everything.

The federal government should immediately re-name Ft. Lee (Virginia), a full-fledge Army post and headquarters for:
- United States Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM)/ Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE);
- The U.S. Army Quartermaster School;
- The U.S. Army Ordnance School;
- The U.S. Army Transportation School;
- The Army Logistics University (ALU);
- Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA); and
- The U.S. Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).

The fort is named for US Army Colonel and Confederate States General in Chief, Robert E. Lee, It is one of the U.S. Army installations named for Confederate soldiers to be renamed by the Commission on the Naming of Items of the Department of Defense that Commemorate the Confederate States of America or Any Person Who Served Voluntarily with the Confederate States of America.

More information on the Naming Commission here.

What should the new name be?
Fort Colin Powell.

Naming such an important military installation after the late General Powell would not only help preserve the memory of this distinguised leader, but also set on-fire the hair of the GQP establishment, Faux Noise commentators, and all these incels who marched carrying tiki torches.

We can probably find someone to name it after that both wasn't a traitor like Lee and didn't lie us into a war like Powell.
