She absolutely deserved the Nobel Prize.

Her point really struck me - the actions of the authoritarians is to try to get you to "voluntarily give up your rights". Never.

I love the idea of journalism creating it's own tech system to counteract profit-driven technology companies taking over the "gatekeeping" function to delivering truth.
