The press spends time predicting the next pitch or inning - who will win, who will fail. As if we care what they predict will happen.

For example, CNN and others 'wondered' whether the gov site to order tests would fail from too much traffic (based on ACA site) because gov't isn't good at building web apps. When that didn't happen, they moved on having implanted the impression that gov't doesn't know how to build web apps and not praising Biden that the rollout was a success.

On to nitpick the next issue.

They didn't even wait on the website to fail before declaring that there's no way it could possibly succeed.

They didn't even have to praise Biden - all they needed to do was report that the website is working and inform their viewers on how to use it.

That the news media seems to be afraid of even being perceived as Biden-friendly has caused them to be the complete opposite. It could have devastating consequences.
