They're doing the bidding of BIG Pharma. They can do what they're told or lose their paychecks. I'm not defending these actions AT ALL, but these cops - both local and federal - can't eat principles. We could holler at them all day - to no avail.
Obama changed the course of the XL pipeline, thanks in part to ther chorus of voices around the White House awhile back. He could change the course of these MJ outlets too - if he were coersed.

I"m ALL FOR legalization of MJ - and all the other drugs too. The War On Drugs is a wasteful joke.

This isn't wishful thinking by any stretch of the imagination.. Mr. Obama is a friggin’ genius I’ve got to hand him that. I think he’s going to manage to close down every working dispensary in every medical cannabis State, before election day 2012, without so much as a wisp of anyone but a few cynical shitheads like myself being mad at him. When I say “close down” I mean the dispensaries are going to do so voluntarily. Now isn’t it reasonable to presume that nobody would get mad if he busted a few for income tax evasion? Subsequently who's mad if the rest decide to close their doors? The plan is so simple it’s amazing that George W didn’t think of it himself.
