Senator Bernie Sanders discusses his new book It’s OK To Be Angry About Capitalism, in conversation with Emma Dabiri.

The event will take place on Thursday 23rd February, 8pm, as part of the 2023 Spring Literature Season at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.

Ted Hodgkinson, head of Literature and Spoken Word at the centre, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Senator Bernie Sanders to the Southbank Centre for what promises to be a momentous encounter with one of the most consequential and outspoken figures in contemporary politics.

Emma Dabiri is an Irish-Nigerian academic, activist and broadcaster. Her 2019 debut, Don’t Touch My Hair, was published to critical and commercial acclaim. Her latest book, What White People Can Do Next: From Allyship to Coalition, published in April 2021, is a Sunday Times and Irish Times bestseller.
