Alex Jones Reportedly Shifting Money To Friends To Avoid Sandy Hook Payout - Ring of Fire

According to an investigation by The New York Times, Alex Jones appears to be shifting cash and assets to his family and friends in order to avoid paying out a massive $1.5 billion judgement to the victims of Sandy Hook. Jones has already lost the initial defamation lawsuit filed by the survivors' families after his claims about the events of that tragedy caused these families even more emotional and physical distress. Courts must step in immediately to freeze his assets to prevent these alleged moves, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

According to a new report from the New York Times, Alex Jones has allegedly been shifting his assets, offloading them to his friends and families, so that when it's time to pay that nearly 1.5 billion settlement that he owes to the victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy, he can go to court and say, listen, I don't have any assets. I have no money. All of my stuff is gone. You can't get blood from a turnip. I don't have to pay this massive settlement. Here's what the New York Times investigation found in February, 2022. Jones transferred his 3 million estate in Austin, Texas to his wife Erica Wolf Jones. The house is o on the estate spans over 5,400 square feet and boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms in addition to a pool and spa. The investigation also found that Jones signed a contract last, uh, July with Blue Ascension. A new company founded just months prior by Patrick Riley Jones, former personal trainer and assistant. That same month, free speech systems, his previous company filed for bankruptcy. So, and of course there's, there's more instances. He's still using an $80,000 private jet or $80,000 a used private jet. He's got other villas. He's got, uh, uh, straight up money assets sending it over to friends and family. He doesn't want to pay, he doesn't want to have to suffer the consequences that his words brought upon him.

Now, here's the question I have. You have the families that have now filed a lawsuit saying that he's, he's, you know, shading the court here trying to skirt the settlement by offloading his assets. Can you please do something court? And unfortunately, they had to file this suit in Jones's home state of Texas. So you can guess how, how well that went over. Yeah, nothing's happened. By the way, Jones submitted a financial sheet that most experts believe was completely fraudulent, saying that, oh, no, no, no, I got 5 million in assets. I've got these things here. I don't know what these people are talking about. So, so far the judge has not done anything. What needs to happen at this point, and it actually needs to be retroactive, is Jones' assets need to be frozen. He should not be able to offload assets. He should not be allowed to sell anything.

He should not be allowed to file for bankruptcy. He should not be allowed to create new entities. The courts have that authority to do that, and we know that because Manhattan did that with Donald Trump and the Trump organization. You can't sell anything. You can't buy anything. We're putting a court monitor in here. If you absolutely have to do something, it has to go through us. We could be doing that down in Texas to protect the victims of Sandy Hook, but they're not. And Alex Jones knows that. So until the court says something, he's gonna keep offloading everything till it's time to pay the piper, at which point he's gonna go there with his pockets. Outturned saying, sorry folks, I have nothing.

It’s not as though he can be trusted to just do the right thing on his own.
