Former President Donald Trump threatened New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, as Bragg investigates and prepares to indict Trump for his earlier New York crimes. Specifically, Trump indicates there will be "death and destruction" if Bragg indicts hims. Then, Trump commits a second crime by posting a picture of himself, holding a baseball bat, mid-swing, next to a picture DA Bragg whose hand is upraised as if in a defensive posture.
This conduct by Trump violates New York penal law section 195.05, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree:
"a person is guilty of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree when that person intentionally . . . attempts to prevent a public servant from performing an official function, by means of intimidation or interference . . . "
When the NY grand jury reconvenes on Monday, they should be presented this evidence of Trump's threats and add two additional charges to the indictment of Donald Trump - one for the "death and destruction" post and one for the baseball bat post. Because justice matters. - Glenn Kirschner - 03/25/2023.

If trump succeeds in his mission, desantis will have no reason to ban books. If only they put as much energy into doing good. But conservatives dont know how to do good.

Not to mention, the NSC pandemic playbook, also put in place during the Obama administration during Ebola. The TFG administration saw no need for it and discarded it as unnecessary.
Trump team failed to follow NSCs pandemic playbook
The 69-page document, finished in 2016, provided a step by step list of priorities which were then ignored by the administration.

The strategies are among hundreds of tactics and key policy decisions laid out in a 69-page National Security Council playbook on fighting pandemics, which POLITICO is detailing for the first time. Other recommendations include that the government move swiftly to fully detect potential outbreaks, secure supplemental funding and consider invoking the Defense Production Act all steps in which the Trump administration lagged behind the timeline laid out in the playbook.
Each section of this playbook includes specific questions that should be asked and decisions that should be made at multiple levels within the national security apparatus, the playbook urges, repeatedly advising officials to question the numbers on viral spread, ensure appropriate diagnostic capacity and check on the U.S. stockpile of emergency resources.
The playbook also stresses the significant responsibility facing the White House to contain risks of potential pandemics, a stark contrast with the Trump administrations delays in deploying an all-of-government response and President Donald Trumps recent signals that he might roll back public health recommendations.

Republican Party planning committee: Okay talk serious about these so called problems but dont get carried away with a big solution. If we do or dont do anything that turns out real bad just blame it on the Dems. Ya know, play to our strength. The stupid, who love us and vote for us will believe every word WE say. And the lobbyists will be standing by with our fiduciary incentive.
