I remember wondering why the video had no content that requested any kind of action: petition, phone call, events, meetings . . . nothing. Not that unusual on FB, but also a little odd given the hyper emotional, personal, justice appeal in the video message.

They wanted people to donate to Invisible children so they could have more "awareness" events. Though it's hard to tell where that money went.

Tell that to my family, who kept one of Bush's Death Panels from killing our sister. Without internet activism and news coverage, we would have been screwed. With it, we put the hospital to shame and we won.

Ron Paul never had a chance at winning the GOP nomination this election. The past few years, I have seen tons of his supporters spamming YouTube comments with "RON PAUL 2012 OUR ONLY HOPE" messages. And then when it came time to vote, they were nowhere to be seen.

We wanted to go to Iraq because... Oil

We want to deepen our presence in Africa to get their resources and prevent other countries like China and Russia from getting at the goodies.

Sorry to explain what should already be manifest to everyone already. Don't mean to insult intelligence.

There are bad people all over the planet hurting their peoples (North Korea anyone?), but it's always the countries with resources that we seek out to "liberate" and spread Democracy there...
