Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy hit back at Fox News during a UK press conference following the London Premiere of their new film. Fox had publically criticized the film for supposedly pushing a 'dangerous liberal agenda' at kids.


As MediaMatters reports:

During the December 2 edition of Fox Business’ Follow the Money, host Eric Bolling discussed the plot to the Muppets movie with Media Research Center’s Dan Gainor. Noting that the antagonist of the film is an oil tycoon named “Tex Richman,” Bolling asked, “Is liberal Hollywood using class warfare to kind of brainwash our kids?” Gainor responded by saying: “Yeah, absolutely. And they’ve been doing it for decades.”

During the segment, on-screen text asked, “Are liberals trying to brainwash your kids against capitalism?

2. That was hilarious! Although I do feel kinda bad for the pupeteers

who are gonna get so much shit for going so far off script. And really we shouldn't be taking what Miss Piggy says seriously. But, they might have just done
some damage to their public funding.
