It turned out that invading Iraq, for no real reason, WAS, a very bad idea and the Surge/Splurge, turned out to be a GOP based political tool to try and scare folks into voting for you in 2008. Mister McDipshit (R) Arizona, the fact that you ever picked Sarah Palin as your running mate, *wink* Wink,* should prove to the world, that you never did have the brains to be president, or even a US senator, Mister McDipshit (R) Arizona. Next question please."

Senator McSlime said he despised the Bush administration's idea of torturing prisoners, but yet he thought the war was a great idea?

We never would have had troops at Abu Ghraib if the other republicans in Washington had listened to Chuck Hagel, when he thought the war was a bad idea. Over a trillion dollars blown on the war in Iraq. Thousands of dead and wounded Americans and tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians dead, wounded, homeless, hopeless and ruined. Rummy and the GOP didn't manage the Pentagon so great there Mister Senator.

The GOP blew our wad during BushCo's Al Capone style eight year reign of "terra." And now John McSame and the rest of the GOPers in DC, want to balance the budget on the backs of the elderly and the sick and the poor. McSame probably thinks that everything would be perfect, if we could just crush Social Security and give the wealthy 2% another four or five tax cuts.

well over a hundred thousand dead Iraqis. Displaced? Millions. Doctor I know was there and he said we wiped out an entire generation. He was never the same after that btw. Good doc, National Guard and it messed w/his head pretty badly.

Some may say the knees, but they'd be wrong. I used to have some semblance of respect for him, but it was sorely misplaced. Sorely.

riiiight, it was all a great success, everything McCain wanted, the war, the surge, the result. Anyone who opposed the debacle shouldn't be in a high position. riiiigghhhttt

Years ago, when he was running OLA on the Hill (still in uniform) and screwing around like a college kid, he had one of the hottest tempers in town. He got angry and held a grudge. Anyone who worked for him will tell you that he wasn't an easy boss--the only thing that made life tolerable is that he was such a horn dog that he'd not always be around.

....the asswipe questioning at the hearings last week of her on Bengazi......

Meanwhile, I have a sense that Chuck Hagel couldnt deliver such a response, even if he thought it....its not his "style"...But I bet Chuck Hagel could say a lot of things to embaress the crap out of McCain and shame him worse than imaginable. My hunch is that he actually feels really really sorry for McCain and figures that the dementia, the years of torture from being a GOP, oops I meant POW, have finally taken McCain. My guess is that in Chuck Hagel's honor book, it doesnt matter how nasty McCain is, he wont go there, even if he thought about it as he sat there....and even if he loathes McCain and thinks he is an absolute asshole of the highest degree, Chuck Hagel knows he is going to be Secretary of Defense and closer to the heartbeat of the Office of POTUS than McCain EVER will be.

McCain might think Hagel is a traitor to his country (and worst yet to McCain himself), but the reality is that it is McCain who is the traitor of ideals and of truth and honor to this country.....and to a once good friend. There I said it. And I dont give him a pass because of his POW days etc....McCain began his long downward spiral from being a hero to a zero when he walked on stage and wrapped his arms around George W. Bush....then campaigning for him and the Iraq war....then Sarah Palin was the icing on the cake....songs of bombing Iran....his weekly rants on Sunday shows going after Obama or anyone associated with him....

McCain the "Maverick".....is now only McCain the "Wreck"....

Senator McCranky Pants behaved in an embarrassing manner today at the Senate hearings. The hearings were not hearings they were a sideshow with McCranky Pants behaving as a spoiled child. Graham the same thing. Both of these idiots assume people are stupid so they roll out their old junk as if they committed a surprise attack. If either of them were capable of shame they would be at home licking their ego until it bleeds.

McCranky Pants lost my respect following the republican primary against George W. Bush. After the Bush campaign in South Carolina claimed that McCranky Pants was a coward in Vietnam, because he survived his capture and imprisonment and that McCranky Pants had an out of wedlock black child, (an adopted child,) McCranky Pants walked on stage where Bush gave his acceptance speech and gave Bush a big hug. McCranky Pants was told that the insults against his character were just politics. Politics it was, republican style.
